Monjolinho hydropower plant

Monjolinho hydropower plant is located on the Passo Fundo river, in Rio Grande do Sul state, near the border with Santa Catarina state.

The power plant has a total head of 61m and the powerhouse is equipped with two Francis turbines, which receive water through two forced tunnels, 110m long and 3.85m in diameter. The concrete face rockfill dam is 80m high.
