Eiriksdal power plant

Eiriksdal power plant is located in Høyanger Municipality in Vestland County.

The power plant replaced the Høyanger K2 and K3 power plants.

Eiriksdal power plant has its regulating reservoir in Høyangerfellet, and the intake reservoir is Lake Høgsvatn, located 694 metres above sea level.

The power plant uses a height of fall of 568 metres and equipped with two different types of turbines - a Pelton turbine of 30 MW and a Francis turbine of 50 MW.

A modern arch structure in concrete forms the entryway to the power plant, which is located inside the mountain. The access tunnel is 600 metres long.
