Hogga power plant

Hogga power plant is located in Nome Municipality in Vestfold and Telemark County.

The power plant was commissioned in 1987 as the final stage of the Tokke development and uses a height of fall between Lake Bandak and Lake Nomevatn.

Hogga power plant is equipped with Statkraft's only bulb turbine. The head race tunnel has the largest cross section of all such tunnels in Statkraft, at 150 square metres. The intake is designed to create minimal disruption for tourist and recreational boat traffic on the Telemark Canal.

The plant's generating unit has an installed capacity of 17 MW.
