Løkaunet power plant

Løkaunet power plant is located on the Nid River in Trondheim Municipality in Trøndelag County.

The power plant uses a height of fall of 51 metres at the top of the Nid River and draws water from Lake Hyttfossdammen, which merges with Lake Selbusjøen and Lake Bjørsjøen when the reservoir is full.

Like Løkaunet, nearby Svean power plant and Bratsberg power plant also use water in the Nid River from Lakes Selbusjøen and Bjørsjøen.

Løkaunet power plant is equipped with a Francis turbine.
